An exciting opportunity has become available for a Consultant Ecologist to join a well-established environmental consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality ecological and environmental services across the UK. Based near Cambridge, the company works on a diverse range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects and offers excellent long-term career development opportunities.
The successful Consultant Ecologist will support a variety of ecological projects, carrying out protected species surveys, habitat assessments, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, report writing and biodiversity net gain work.

Requirements:
* Previous experience within a UK ecology consultancy
* Degree in Ecology or a related discipline
* Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and survey methodologies
* Experience producing ecological reports
* Protected species licences desirable but not essential
* Full UK driving licence required
* Full right to work in the UK
* Must live within a commutable distance of the Cambridge office
