Full job descriptionWell-known multi-national Corporate & Investment Bank in their search for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join their team.
Operating out of the London office on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in office), you will support on a wide variety of infrastructure and operational projects within a collaborative team.

Description
*Advising on a variety of English law matters including commercial contracts, outsourcing, procurement, professional services, and intra-group arrangements
*Supporting digital and technology initiatives, including cloud services, AI-enabled solutions, data and information platforms, and internal governance processes
*Supporting M&A advisory mandates and corporate transactions
*Handling company secretarial matters for UK entities
*Managing regulatory advisory, frameworks, and new developments
Profile
Essential requirements:
*UK-qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a current practising certificate
*4 - 10 years’ post-qualification experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house within financial services or banking
*Strong grounding in commercial and corporate legal matters, including advisory
*Excellent legal analysis, drafting and stakeholder management skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously while collaborating effectively with wider teams
Desirable:
*Prior in-house banking experience
*Exposure to digital, technology or outsourcing projects
Job Offer
*Base salary up to £110,000 depending on candidate experience
*Hybrid working, 3 days per week in office
