I have been engaged by a highly successful, well-established business based in central Brighton, who are looking for a General Manager to join the team. This is a senior, hands-on position combining financial oversight, operational development, and people management. The role will require you to be primarily in the office (1-day wfh per week).


As their new General Manager, you work closely with the Director (deputising in their absence), and manage the team, so this is a real opportunity to play a central role in the running of the business.


General Manager responsibilities:
*Lead people operations including HR matters, recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, line management, and company-wide communication.
*Drive operational efficiency by developing workflows, systems, and processes.
*Project costing, analysis and negotiations.
*Cash flow reporting & projections.
*Main contact for external stakeholders – HR Consultant & Accountants.
