Full job descriptionRandstad Education is seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to start ASAP within our partner schools in Pensby (CH61) and the surrounding areas. We are looking for dedicated professionals with a proven track record in mainstream secondary or SEN settings who are ready to support the local learning community.

Requirements:
*Experience working with children or young people (e.g., coaching, youth work).
*Effective communication skills to explain tasks and give instructions.
*Strong classroom management and the ability to handle challenging behaviour.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Your Role:
*Lead the classroom by supervising students as they complete pre-set work.
*Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
*Guide learning by explaining lesson objectives and answering student questions.
*Ensure a safe environment by following all school safeguarding procedures.
*Take accurate registers and monitor attendance at the start of every lesson.
*Collect completed work and provide feedback for the returning teacher.
*Act as a professional role model, encouraging students to stay on task and engaged.
