Intro
A global listed FMCG business is seeking a Qualified Financial Analyst to support a key European region within its international finance function. This is a highly analytical and commercially focused role within a fast-paced international environment, offering broad exposure across reporting, forecasting, commercial analysis, and business partnering across European markets.

A globally recognised consumer business operating across multiple international markets, with a strong portfolio of established brands and a significant international footprint.
The business operates within a fast-moving, collaborative environment, combining strong commercial performance with operational scale across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. The finance function plays a critical role in delivering insight, performance analysis, and decision support to regional leadership teams.
The Role
Reporting into the regional finance leadership team, you will support a key European region across reporting, planning, forecasting, and financial performance analysis, partnering closely with commercial, operational, and central finance teams across Europe.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical capability, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to manage and interpret large datasets to support business performance and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
*Ownership of monthly financial reporting for the region
*Preparation of detailed variance analysis across sales, margin, pricing, and operating expenditure
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles
*Building and maintaining complex financial models and reporting packs
*Analysing commercial performance across customers, products, and channels
*Partnering with commercial and sales teams to support profitability and decision-making
*Supporting month-end close activities and regional reporting submissions
*Assisting with cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
*Identifying opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and efficiency
*Providing ad hoc analysis and modelling to support strategic initiatives
*Liaising with FP&A, controllership, and shared service teams across Europe
Your Profile
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Previous experience within FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis roles
*FMCG, consumer, beverage, or multinational experience preferred
*Advanced Excel capability, including financial modelling, Power Query, pivot tables, and scenario analysis
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
*Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, high-volume reporting environment
*Strong communication and stakeholder management capability across finance and non-finance teams
*SAP, Power BI, or similar reporting tools advantageous
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a salary of £70,000-£75,000 plus bonus and benefits, alongside hybrid working from a West London office. The position provides strong international exposure, broad stakeholder interaction, and the opportunity to contribute to commercial decision-making and process improvement within a globally recognised listed FMCG business.
