Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a compressed working week that gives you more time to do what you love? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing business in Middlesbrough, offering a great salary and a shift pattern that gives you three days off every week.
The Role
As Electrical Engineer, you’ll be a key part of the engineering team, responsible for keeping critical plant and equipment running at optimum performance. You’ll be working across both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding, playing a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the site.
*Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across electrical systems and equipment
*Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise production downtime
*Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects on site
*Working to health and safety standards and internal compliance requirements
*Collaborating with the wider engineering and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
*Recognised electrical qualification - City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent
*Solid background in a manufacturing or industrial environment
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable)
*A proactive, reliable engineer who takes pride in their work
The Package
*Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
*Friday to Monday, 10-hour shifts
*Shift options: 5:30am - 1:30pm or 11:00am - 8:00pm
*Compressed week - enjoy three days off every week
