SEND Teaching Assistant
Skelmersdale | £109 per day | Term Time Only | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Are you from a care or support work background and ready to take your skills into a rewarding role in education?
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in the Skelmersdale area. This role is particularly suited to individuals with hands-on experience in care settings who are confident providing personal care and supporting complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
* Support students with complex needs within the classroom environment
* Assist with personal care where required
* Promote independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning and development
Role Details
* Monday to Friday
* 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Term time only
* £109 per day
About You
* Experience in care work, support work, or a similar setting
* Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs (desirable)
* Comfortable providing personal care
* Patient, resilient, and adaptable
* Passionate about making a meaningful difference in children’s lives
