Type: Full-time, Permanent - Hybrid Working A growing and fast-paced business in Chesterfield is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their supportive finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment, and wants exposure across all areas of transactional finance.
This role sits within a fast-paced finance function with responsibility spanning end-to-end transactional finance, including billing, accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple currencies and revenue streams. It’s a hands-on position managing high transaction volumes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial control across all processes.
Key responsibilities:*Purchase ledger processing and invoice management
*Sales ledger, billing, and credit control support
*Bank reconciliations
*Cash allocation and transaction processing
*Supplier and customer query resolution
*Supporting reporting and month-end processes
*Maintaining accurate financial records across all ledgers
*Assisting with wider finance duties as required
