Overview:
We have an urgent requirement, our client is seeking multiple skilled PCB Assemblers to their business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards to a high standard, working from technical drawings and specifications. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience working with both through-hole and surface mount components.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole and/or surface mount (SMT) techniques
*Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
*Solder components including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors
*Inspect and test assembled boards to ensure quality standards are met
*Identify and report faults or inconsistencies in components or documentation
*Rework and repair PCBs where required
*Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health & safety standards
Requirements:
*Previous experience in PCB assembly
*Strong soldering skills (through-hole and/or SMT)
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Good manual dexterity
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
*Experience working with older design boards
*Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610)
*Experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment
