Full job descriptionPart-Time Science Teacher - Cambridge - Start Date SeptemberProspero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Cambridge from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator looking to contribute to a strong Science department while maintaining a part-time schedule. The school is seeking a practitioner with solid subject knowledge, effective behaviour management, and the ability to inspire learners across KS3 and KS4.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Cambridge
*Position - Part-Time Science Teacher
*Type of work - Secondary class teaching
*Start date - September
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Part-time
*Pay - To be discussed further
*Hours - Part-time school hours (to be confirmed with the school)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification in Science
*Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
