Our client, a well-established and expanding business in the Warrington area, is seeking a Trainee Finance Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of accounts.

Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase invoices and assisting with supplier payments
*Supporting bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
*Assisting with customer queries and issuing statements
*Supporting credit control, including chasing overdue payments
*Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
*Maintaining supplier and customer account data
*Using Excel and internal systems to support reporting and finance operations
Requirements
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel
*Recent Finance/Accounting education (AAT/degree) or 6–12 months finance experience
*Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
