Full job descriptionECT D&T Secondary School Teacher - Braintree - Start Date SeptemberProspero Teaching are seeking a motivated ECT D&T Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Braintree from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career in a supportive environment with strong mentorship, a structured induction programme, and ongoing professional development. The school is looking for a passionate practitioner with creativity, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire learners across KS3 and KS4.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Braintree
*Position - ECT D&T Secondary Teacher
*Start date - September
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Full time
*Pay - To be discussed further
*Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification in Design & Technology
*Recent experience in a UK secondary school (placements accepted for ECTs)
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
