Full job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant - Ipswich - Start Date ASAPProspero Teaching are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive but challenging SEN school in Ipswich, starting ASAP. This role is ideal for someone with resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs. The school requires a practitioner with some level of SEN experience, as the environment can be demanding but incredibly rewarding.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Ipswich
*Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
*Start date - ASAP
*Full time/part-time - Full time
*Minimum rate of pay - £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
*Hours - 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*Experience working with SEN pupils (essential due to the challenging nature of the school)
*Relevant training in SEN strategies or behaviour support (desirable)
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
