Full job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant – Outstanding School – BL4 – Temp to Perm OpportunityA highly regarded Ofsted Outstanding school in BL4 is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September 2026.
The successful candidate will work closely with students with additional needs, helping them access learning and supporting their overall development within a structured and nurturing environment. Personal care responsibilities will form part of the role.
The role will include:
*Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
*Assisting students with communication, engagement and emotional regulation
*Providing personal care support where necessary
*Working collaboratively with teachers and the SEN department
*Promoting independence and positive behaviour throughout the school day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
