Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 6-11 with autism, communication difficulties and additional learning needs within a specialist education setting in Smallfield, Surrey (RH6).
The role involves working closely with class teachers and therapy teams to provide tailored classroom support, manage behaviour positively, and help pupils access learning in a safe and structured environment. You will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, encourage social and emotional development, and help implement individual learning and behaviour plans.
Candidates must have previous SEN experience or experience working in a similar specialist setting. You should be confident supporting children with additional needs, remain calm under pressure, and be able to build positive and consistent relationships with pupils.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people achieve their potential within a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Full-time, term-time role. Access to a car due to location is preferrable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
