We are currently recruiting for a SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work closely with a child in KS1 in Eastbourne from September 2026.
This rewarding role involves providing dedicated 1:1 support to help the child access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.
Role Details*SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
*Working within Key Stage 1
*Year group to be confirmed
*Based in Eastbourne
*September 2026 start
*Full-time position
Responsibilities*Providing tailored 1:1 classroom support
*Supporting the child’s academic, social, and emotional development
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
*Encouraging engagement and positive learning experiences
*Assisting with classroom activities and routines
Requirements*Experience working with children or young people with SEN preferred
*Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*DBS certificate desirable or willingness to apply for one
