About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist to join a busy school in Shepshed. This is a front-facing role where you will act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
*Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents, and callers
*Managing inbound enquiries via phone and in person
*Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area
*Supporting general administrative and office tasks
*Assisting the wider school team in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
*Previous reception or front-of-house experience
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
*Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Important Compliance Requirements
Please note that working within a school setting requires:
*An Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
*Completion of all required compliance checks prior to starting
*Full compliance support will be provided as part of the onboarding process
