Full job descriptionAre you an experienced Audit Manager looking for a new challenge within a forward-thinking and supportive practice? Our client, a highly respected chartered accountancy firm in Blackburn, is seeking a talented Audit Manager to join their growing team.

The Role
As an Audit Manager, you’ll take full ownership of managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients, leading assignments from planning through to completion, and providing strategic business advice. You’ll play a key role in developing client relationships, supporting your team, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the audit function.
Key responsibilities:
*Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors
*Leading audits from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery
*Overseeing and reviewing work of the audit team and providing technical guidance
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying areas for improvement or added value
*Working closely with partners and senior management on audit strategy and business development initiatives
*Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior team members
About You*ACA / ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience within a UK accountancy practice
*Proven experience managing audits from start to finish
*Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
*Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
*Commercially minded, with a proactive approach to client service and business growth
*Experience with audit software (CaseWare, CCH, or similar) and cloud-based accounting platforms
