Location: Gorton, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September
Contract: Temporary to Permanent available
Hours: Full-time
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a diverse and welcoming secondary school in the Gorton area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people to thrive both academically and personally within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Role Overview:*Supporting pupils in class across a range of subjects
*Assisting with behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning environments
*Providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
*Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions
*Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
Requirements:*Previous experience working with children or young people is essential (e.g. schools, youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring, etc.)
*Strong communication skills and a positive, patient approach
*Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
*Experience supporting behaviour or SEN is highly desirable
*A proactive and adaptable attitude
