Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, a well-established specialist retail provider based in Marlow, is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service in a consultative sales environment while building long-term customer relationships and developing their career within a successful business.
The successful candidate will support customers throughout the full purchasing journey, from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftercare support. The role involves providing product guidance, processing orders and ensuring customers receive a high level of service at every stage. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone from a retail, hospitality or customer-focused background.
The role is full-time and permanent, working within opening hours of 9:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off each week. The business is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Key Duties:
*Providing customers with expert guidance on available products and suitable solutions for their requirements
*Supporting customers throughout the full sales process from enquiry through to delivery
*Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
*Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
*Processing customer orders and payments accurately
*Arranging product samples and following up on customer enquiries
*Providing product and technical information where required
*Working collaboratively with colleagues within a fast-paced customer environment
*Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
*Delivering a high standard of aftercare support once orders have been completed
Experience & Skills Required:
*Previous experience within a customer-facing sales, retail or service environment would be advantageous
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Confident working within a customer-focused and sales-driven environment
*Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
*Self-motivated with a proactive and professional approach
*Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
*Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
*A positive and team-focused attitude
