Hours: 5 hours per week
Schedule: Over 2 days (2.5 hours per session)
We are currently seeking a supportive and engaging Maths and English Tutor to work with a Year 10 student in Thurrock (RM15). The role involves delivering personalised tuition in line with the student’s EHCP requirements.
Key Responsibilities*Provide one-to-one Maths and English tuition to a Year 10 pupil
*Deliver lessons tailored to the student’s individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes
*Support engagement, confidence and academic progress
*Adapt teaching methods and resources appropriately
*Maintain clear communication regarding progress and attendance
*Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements*Experience supporting secondary-aged students
*Good knowledge of Maths and English at KS4 level
*Experience working with EHCP students or additional needs is desirable
*Patient, flexible and encouraging approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Right to work in the UK
Additional Information*Tuition to take place across 2 days per week
*2.5-hour sessions
