This is a hands-on engineering role focused on real-time trading systems, exchange connectivity, and low-latency performance. You’ll work closely with traders and quant teams to improve execution quality, build scalable infrastructure, and ensure trading systems perform under serious market pressure, the kind where milliseconds quietly decide everything.
If you enjoy building high-performance systems and solving complex distributed engineering problems in fast-moving markets, this sits right in that sweet spot between quant, trading, and hardcore backend engineering.
What you’ll be doing*Building and optimising exchange trading and execution systems

*Improving latency, performance, and reliability across the trading stack

*Developing backend services for real-time market data and order flow

*Working closely with traders and quants on systematic strategies and tooling

*Supporting and enhancing production trading infrastructure

What they’re looking for*Strong experience in Java, Python, and/or Rust

*Background in trading systems, HFT, market making, or electronic trading

*Solid understanding of distributed systems and low-latency design

*Comfortable working in Linux and production environments

*Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving ability
