Full job descriptionRobert Half is delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a growing business based in Leeds. As part of its continued growth, the company is expanding its finance team and is looking to appoint a commercially minded finance professional who can make an immediate impact.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified to newly qualified accountant who is confident in month-end production and keen to broaden their exposure across planning and commercial finance activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Production of monthly management accounts
*Supporting the month-end close process
*Balance sheet reconciliations and review
*Variance analysis and commentary
*Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
*Supporting wider commercial finance activity and business partnering
*Contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
The ideal candidate will have:
*Part-qualified to newly qualified accountant status
*Strong experience producing month-end management accounts
*The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced finance team
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*A proactive approach and willingness to get involved in broader finance activities
What’s on offer:
*Salary of £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
