Are you a fully qualified Geography teacher (QTS) based in South Manchester and looking to secure a full-time role for September 2026?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of well-regarded secondary schools across South Manchester, all seeking passionate and committed Geography specialists for permanent and long-term positions starting this September.
About the role
*Start Date: September 2026
*Contract: Full-time (long-term with potential for permanent placement)
*Location: South Manchester secondary school
*Pay: Long-term roles paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Role Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Plan, assess, and monitor student progress in line with the national curriculum
*Differentiate lessons to support mixed-ability learners
*Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking Humanities department
*Promote positive learning outcomes and high standards of behaviour
We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
*Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography
*Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
*Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
