Full job descriptionTPF Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a modern and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Newbury with the recruitment of an Accounts & Outsourcing Semi-Senior to join their growing team.

The Role
Working closely with the team’s Managers and Directors, you will support the delivery of high-quality outsourced accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients,
including SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger corporate groups.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
*Bookkeeping, VAT returns, and providing day-to-day outsourced finance support
*Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
*Assisting with cloud accounting projects, including system migrations and client support
*Supporting with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting analysis
*Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries
*Assisting senior team members with a range of client accounting projects
Requirements*Previous experience working within a UK firm of Chartered Accountants
*AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification
*Experience preparing management accounts, statutory accounts and VAT returns
*Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*A confident and professional communication style with the ability to build strong client relationships
