Full job descriptionWe are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established and growing Romford-based business.


Reporting directly to the board, this is a standalone, hands-on role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who can provide accurate financial reporting, improve processes and support business growth.


Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
*Overseeing purchase and sales ledger functions
*Managing month-end and year-end processes
*Producing financial analysis and reporting for directors
*Liaising with external accountants, auditors and HMRC
*Maintaining and improving financial controls and procedures
*Supporting strategic and commercial decision-making


Key Skills:
*You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior finance role
*Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
