A well-established education supply agency is seeking dedicated Functional Skills Tutors to work within an Alternative Provision setting in Leicester. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners who benefit from a more personalised and nurturing approach to education.
The Role*Deliver engaging Functional Skills English and/or Maths sessions
*Support students with varying abilities and additional needs
*Build positive relationships and encourage learner confidence
*Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
*Work closely with support staff and wider education teams
Requirements*Experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills
*A recognised teaching or tutoring qualification is desirable
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*Passion for supporting young people in alternative education settings
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
