Location: Reading
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for delivering first-class customer service? Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is looking for a Customer Service Advisor / Customer Care Advisor to join their dynamic team based in Theale.
About the Role
In this fast-paced and customer-centric position, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service delivery across a portfolio of client contracts. Acting as a key liaison between clients, service providers, and internal teams, you’ll help maintain outstanding operational standards and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
*Responsible for the delivery and management of contractual customer service levels and KPI reporting for diagnostic imaging contracts
*Work as part of a team to complete allocated DI workflows.
*Actively supports the timely completion of all administration tasks relating to the Service Excellence Centre (SEC) Function
*Work closely with senior staff to provide outstanding customer service to advance customer satisfaction and nurture client relationships
*Establish and maintain external supplier relationships to assist with upholding exceptional levels of customer service and preserve service levels
*Responsible for ensuring internal and external communications are informative, accurate, timely and on brand
*Positively support departmental training programmes to support cross-functional resilience and business continuity programmes.
*Ensure that there is excellent communication with and support of other functions within our client’s new sales, account management, field service operations and finance
*Maintain the critical link between customers, service providers and operations managers to achieve a best-in-class service
*Work as part of a team to support and champion continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Intermediate IT proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
*Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
*Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and thrive under pressure
*A flexible team player with high attention to detail
Preferred Background
*Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment
*Experience managing or working to service level agreements
*Exposure to medical equipment or healthcare settings is advantageous
Qualifications
*NVQ Level 1–4 or equivalent in Customer Service (desirable)
*Additional vocational customer service qualifications welcome
Additional Details
Office-based in Theale till end of training then Hybrid
No UK or international travel required
English fluency essential
