Full job descriptionThe Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a growing business based in Stockton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation, with a preference for someone with a construction sector experience.
The Role
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing the company’s accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities*Managing and maintaining the sales ledger
*Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
*Building strong relationships with clients to resolve queries efficiently
*Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
*Producing aged debt reports and supporting cash flow forecasting
*Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoicing issues
The Person
About You*Previous experience in a Credit Control role
*Construction industry experience is highly desirable
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
*High attention to detail and good organisational skills
