The Role
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is a varied and all-encompassing HR role covering both operational and strategic responsibilities within a busy manufacturing environment:
*Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
*Providing employee relations support and advising managers on HR matters
*Maintaining HR compliance, policies and employee records
*Supporting wider HR operations and workforce planning activities
*Assisting with training and development initiatives for managers and staff
*Involvement in continuous improvement and wider business projects
*Supporting the HR Manager with generalist HR duties across the site

Person specification
*Previous experience in a similar all-rounded HR role
*Ideally experience within SME manufacturing, engineering or production (not essential)
*CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards (desirable)
*Confident supporting employee relations and day-to-day HR queries
*Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
*Forward-thinking and keen to develop within a growing business
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varied workload
