Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur locally based client is looking for a reliable Warehouse Stock Assistant to join their busy team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep goods moving smoothly by receiving deliveries maintaining accurate stock levels in a clean, well-organised warehouse environment.
This is a Temp to Perm position with working hours of Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00pm, working 42.5 hours per week. Offering £12.71 per hour (equivalent of £28,089.10 per annum)
Duties of the Warehouse Stock Assistant:
*Receive incoming deliveries.
*Complete scanning sheets for goods in.
*Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products.
*Move products around the warehouse as required.
*Organise the warehouse.
*Measure and cut materials to size.
*Dispose of waste and scrap materials.
Candidate Profile:
*Good mathematical skills.
*Previous experience working within a busy warehouse/production environment.
*Comfortable with heavy lifting.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Work well as part of a team.
*A valid and transferable forklift licence is also required for this position
