A specialist Alternative Provision in Leicester is looking for an engaging and compassionate Animal Care Tutor to support learners who thrive in a more practical, nurturing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in animal care, land-based studies, or vocational education who wants to inspire and motivate students through hands-on learning.
The Role*Deliver engaging Animal Care sessions to small groups of learners
*Support students with SEMH needs and barriers to mainstream education
*Create a positive, supportive and structured learning environment
*Encourage confidence, independence and employability skills
*Work closely with pastoral and support teams
We’re Looking For*Experience teaching or tutoring Animal Care or related vocational subjects
*A passion for supporting young people in alternative education settings
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*Relevant qualifications in Animal Care, Education or similar
*DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
