Please note: Previous HMO experience is required for this position.
We are seeking a knowledgeable Statutory Compliance HMO Consultant to join a dynamic property management team located in Euston.
This key role focuses on ensuring full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across a residential lettings portfolio. Responsibilities include overseeing HMO licensing, Gas and Electrical safety, Smoke & Carbon compliance, Legionella, and all relevant licensing obligations.
Key Responsibilities
*Identifying properties that require licensing under Mandatory HMO, Additional, and Selective schemes
*Managing and submitting license applications on behalf of clients
*Tracking license conditions and renewal deadlines
*Coordinating compliance works by liaising with councils, landlords, tenants, and contractors
*Reviewing documentation and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
*Advising landlords on legal responsibilities and licensing requirements
What We’re Looking For
*Proven HMO experience — essential
*18 months to 3 years’ experience in property compliance or a related area
*Strong understanding of statutory safety regulations and certification requirements
*Excellent communication skills with keen attention to detail
*Self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines
