Job Description:
3rd Line Support Engineer – VMWare / VSphere / VCF – Remote - £60,000+
Prize Placements are currently recruiting for a 3rd Line Support Engineer with solid experience Installing, Implementing and Deploying VMWare – VCF / VSphere.
This role requires a hands-on individual capable of managing end-to-end infrastructure, from network configuration and security to server deployment and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate must have the following technical skills:
*VMware – all aspects of VM/hypervisor operations
*VMware Horizon remote access
*Microsoft Active Directory, especially in hybrid configuration
*Microsoft 365 administration – Entra-ID, Autopilot, Intune, Conditional Access, Automation, MFA, and so on
*Microsoft Exchange administration (on-prem and online)
*PURE Storage experience
*ProofPoint secure email gateway
Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco)
