Description
*Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and records.
*Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing.
*Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
*Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
*Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
*Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
*Perform other accounting-related duties as required by the team.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
*Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounts management.
*Proficiency with accounting software, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
*An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
