Full job descriptionA growing real estate firm in London is looking to hire a newly qualified accountant to join its finance team. This is a newly created role due to the growth of the business and its large portfolio. This role is ideal for candidates making their first move out of practice, with a strong grounding in audit and financial reporting.
What you will be doing:
*Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
*Review and analyse financial statements across multiple entities
*Assist with consolidations and reporting packs for senior management
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
*Liaise with external auditors and support year-end audit processes
*Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
What we are looking for:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA newly qualified or equivalent)
*Strong audit background (ideally trained in a leading accounting firm environment)
*Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS (US GAAP exposure a plus)
*Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
