Full job descriptionLearning Support Assistant (LSA) - KS1 & KS2 Mid Sussex | September 2026 Start | Various Positions Available
We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across KS1 and KS2 in a range of welcoming primary schools across Mid Sussex.
These roles offer a variety of opportunities for September 2026, including long-term, short-term, and potential permanent positions within supportive school environments.
The Role:*Supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2 with their learning and development
*Working 1:1 or in small groups with children who may have additional needs
*Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
*Helping to create an inclusive and positive learning environment
*Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic progress
What We’re Looking For:*Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable)
*SEN experience is beneficial but not essential
*Patient, caring, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
