Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Credit Controller to join a successful and fast-paced business based on the outskirts of Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their finance career - whether you’re a recent graduate, have 1-2 years’ finance experience, or are looking to build a long-term career in Credit Control.

Key Responsibilities*Supporting the management of customer accounts and outstanding payments
*Chasing overdue invoices via phone and email in a professional manner
*Building positive relationships with customers and helping resolve account queries
*Allocating cash and assisting with account reconciliations
*Producing aged debt reports and supporting the wider finance team
*Assisting with month-end finance processes
Key Requirements*Interest in pursuing a career within Credit Control or Finance
*Graduate calibre or 1–2 years’ experience within an office or finance environment
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Good attention to detail and organisational ability
*Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
