Location: Doncaster
Start Date: 23rd February
Contract: Full-time, temporary (until the end of the 2025/26 academic year)
Pay: Paid to scale via Teaching Personnel (MPS/UPS + SEN allowance where applicable)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive school in Doncaster to recruit a Primary SEN Teacher for a long-term position starting 23rd February, continuing through to the end of the 2025/26 academic year.
The RoleThis role involves teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, communication needs, and moderate learning difficulties, within a primary setting. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
You will work closely with experienced support staff, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive high-quality, personalised support.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to pupils’ individual needs
*Plan and adapt lessons to support engagement and progress
*Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
*Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress monitoring
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff
The Ideal Candidate*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Has experience working with children with SEN (primary or specialist settings)
*Demonstrates strong behaviour management and inclusive practice
*Is patient, resilient, and passionate about SEN education
*Can commit to a long-term role through the academic year
