Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects the finance team is looking for additional support.
Description
*Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
*Maintain and reconcile financial records and ledgers.
*Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
*Support budget tracking and forecasting processes.
*Handle queries from internal teams and external vendors regarding financial matters.
*Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
*Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc administrative tasks.
*Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
*A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
*Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
