Tradewind Recruitment is urgently seeking a dynamic and committed PE Teacher to join a supportive mixed secondary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time position with an immediate or June start, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a specialist, small-group teaching environment.
The school supports students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, with classes of just 2-8 students, enabling focused, high-quality teaching and strong relationship building. The vacancy arises following the departure of a permanent staff member, and the school is open to offering a temporary, fixed-term, or permanent contract, flexible to suit your circumstances.
Essential Requirements:
*UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
*Minimum of one year’s teaching experience in UK schools, ideally with SEMH or similar experience
*Confident delivering PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Strong behaviour and classroom management skills, able to manage challenging behaviours effectively
*Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
*Current enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply-support provided)
*Genuine passion for sport and physical education
*Ability to inspire, motivate, and build positive relationships with students and colleagues
*Legal right to work in the UK
