Full job descriptionQuantum Scholars are currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in South West London to recruit a Supply MFL Teacher to join their team from after the May half-term until the end of the school year.
The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated French and Spanish Teacher who is confident teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will be ambitious for young people and committed to supporting their progress, attainment, and love of languages.
Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
*Support student progress through effective feedback and assessment
*Maintain positive behaviour for learning in the classroom
*Contribute to the wider school community as required
*Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
*Work collaboratively with department staff to share resources and best practice
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
*Experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4 level
*Strong classroom management skills
*Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective language lessons
*A passion for modern foreign languages and inspiring young learners
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
*Available to start after May half-term
