The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor, delivering programmes of work across National Grid and Scottish Power frameworks within their Transmission & Distribution division. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to appoint an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing works across the Central Belt.


As a Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly into the Lead Quantity Surveyor, supporting the commercial delivery of multiple projects across a busy framework.

This is an excellent opportunity for a QS within infrastructure or civil engineering looking to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured work.

Day to day duties will vary but could include:
*Supporting the commercial management of multiple framework projects
*Administering NEC contracts
*Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts
*Supporting cost forecasting, reporting and change management
*Coordinating with operational teams to drive commercial performance
*Identifying risks, issues and opportunities across projects
*Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders


Working Arrangements:
*Based in Glasgow with site travel as required
*Hybrid working


Qualifications:
*Minimum 5+ years’ experience within Quantity Surveying, ideally within Power or civil engineering environments
*Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
*Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams within a framework environment
*Background within T&D is advantageous, but open to wider civils experience
*Ability to manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts independently
*Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost reporting, forecasting and change management
