Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with Abbeydale Golf Club to recruit a Club Office Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded private members’ golf club, set in a beautiful and scenic location.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding experience to members and visitors while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the club. This is a varied role combining front-of-house service with administrative support.
Main Duties will include:Front of House & Customer Service
*Provide a warm and professional welcome to members, guests, and visitors
*Manage bookings, reservations, and member records using the club’s Intelligent Golf system (full training provided)
*Handle daily payments and transactions accurately
*Communicate course updates, competitions, and club events
*Coordinate group and visitor bookings to ensure a seamless experience
*Liaise closely with the Pro Shop, Greenkeeping, and Catering teams
Administrative Support
*Carry out general office administration, including email and telephone correspondence
*Maintain accurate membership, visitor, and sales records
*Assist in preparing reports and documentation for management and committee meetings
*Follow up on outstanding payments
*Support monthly board meeting administration, including minute taking
General Duties
*Ensure reception and clubhouse areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming
*Assist with club events, functions, and presentations where required
*Adhere to club policies, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
*Undertake additional duties as reasonably required
The ideal candidate will have:*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
*Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
*Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player
*Professional telephone and email manner
