Full job description Graduate Teaching Assistant - Bury St Edmunds - Start ASAPProspero Teaching are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, develop behaviour management skills, and build a strong foundation for a future career in education.
The school is looking for a proactive, patient, and supportive individual who can work with students across a range of abilities and needs.


CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Bury St Edmunds

*Position - Graduate Teaching Assistant

*Type of work - Classroom support & intervention

*Start date - ASAP

*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

*Full time/part-time - Full time

*Minimum rate of pay - £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

*Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30/4:00 pm



EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*A degree in any subject

*Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

*Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable)

*A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress



TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK

*Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

*Provide two professional or character references
