We’re working with a client looking to appoint an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to support both existing programmes and new business opportunities within a complex and highly regulated environment.
This role will play a key part in shaping commercial strategy, managing contractual risk, and supporting programme performance across large-scale defence and government contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and support commercial activity across programmes and new business opportunities
*Manage contractual change, commercial risk, and contract lifecycle activities
*Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements and bespoke contracts
*Support programme financial performance, reporting, and customer relationship management
*Provide commercial guidance to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders
Requirements:
*Proven experience managing large and complex commercial contracts
*Strong background within defence, aerospace, or government-related environments
*Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing contractual frameworks
*Strong financial and commercial awareness, including risk and opportunity management
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable:
*Experience working with MOD or UK defence contracts
*Degree qualified (or equivalent professional experience)
*Exposure to continuous improvement and programme governance initiatives
