Stores Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to join a well-established organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of the day-to-day stores operations while leading and developing a high-performing team.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee the full stores function, including Goods In, Picking, Packing, and Dispatch, as well as supporting outbound delivery operations, whether via third-party couriers or in-house transport.
*Lead, motivate, and develop a team within a fast-paced stores environment.
*Act as Line Manager, conducting regular 1:1s, managing daily workloads, and setting priorities.
*Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, dispatching goods, and reporting discrepancies.
*Ensure smooth operations daily, meeting departmental cut-off times.
*Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor to support team performance.
*Monitor productivity and optimise team resources daily.
*Drive colleague development and build a multi-skilled team.
*Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous management or supervisory experience in a warehouse/stores environment.
*Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
*Ability to motivate, influence, and develop others.
*High level of Health & Safety awareness.
*Proactive, results-driven approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
*Good self-awareness and openness to feedback.
*IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is desirable.
