Position: Test & Applications Engineer
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salay: £33,000 - £35,000


Test & Applications Engineer required. Our client is a specialist engineering company supplying advanced machinery based in the Poole, Dorset area. Due to continued success they are seeking a Test & Applications Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be conducting trials on plastic materials in a laboratory environment.


Test & Applications Engineer Position Overview


*Carrying out pressure testing & feasibility studies on plastics materials
*Analysing test results
*Communicating closely with customer via email & phone regarding test results and feasibility
*In the future visiting the customers if required alongside the sales engineer and in time commissioning machines throughout the UK & Ireland.


Test & Applications Engineer Position Requirements


*Previous experience within a Test / Laboratory related role
*Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach
*Experience working with Plastics is a distinct advantage
*Qualifications within Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or Testing is desirable
*Willingness to travel when required
*Based in a commutable distance of Poole


Test & Applications Engineer Position Remuneration


*Salary: £33,000 - £35,000
*Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:15, Friday 08:30 - 16:00.
*25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
*Bonus paid on company performance
