Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm on a part-time basis (4 days per week). This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and busy family law team, with strong long-term progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting solicitors with a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and children proceedings
*Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court bundles
*Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
*Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
*Supporting fee earners with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of cases
Requirements:
*Previous experience working as a Family Paralegal or within a family law department
*Strong understanding of family law procedures and documentation
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*A proactive and detail-oriented approach
