Financial Accountant - 15 Month Fixed-Term ContractLocation: Warwick (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Salary: Competitive
A well-established, global organisation is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Financial Control & Accounting team on a 15-month fixed-term basis.
Working closely with the Chief Accountant, this role will focus on period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver accurate and timely month-end and period-end reporting
*Reconcile key balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation
*Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring issues are fully closed out
*Provide variance analysis against plan and forecast, identifying key drivers
*Support continuous improvement across reporting, controls, and reconciliation processes
*Partner with commercial and operational teams to support financial performance
About You*Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
*Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
*Proven experience in reconciliations and financial reporting
*Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax
*Experience using ERP systems (SAP desirable)
*Methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
Team & Environment*Part of a well-established finance team

*Exposure to both financial control and commercial partnering
